    Until recent years, the Ruvuma region of Tanzania was wrought with political and social unrest, and due to its remote location in the Southwestern part of the country it's unique coffee rarely found its way out of the region and into the hands of western coffee drinkers. Recent social and political developments, however, have led to investments in the region bringing about exciting progress in coffee production in the area and greater exposure to beans from the region. With their delicate, complex flavor profile, these beans allow us a taste of what the region has to offer and a glimpse into Ruvuma's exciting future of coffee production.
